One of my favorite guilty pleasures is reading the Letters to the Editor section of my hometown newspaper. If you’ve never lived in a small town, then you don’t know drama.
Take this letter from Russell Supencheck for example. Russell, while at a “dinner engagement,” had a second grader drop the bombshell that some kids at his school (which shall go nameless but his hinted at quite strongly) are listening to the questionable lyric having “Moves like Jagger” by that “popular band” Maroon 5

Feel free to judge what’s lamer- writing a letter to the editor based off third hand information provided by a second grader or being the one who then proceeds to dissect said later.
Anyhoo, my curiosity to know more made me Google Russell. Had I wagered on the search results, all my money would have been on finding a Facebook page filled with Tea Party ramblings and an American flag for a profile pic.
But nope, Google turned up nary a Facebook page but there was a news report that ol’ Russell pleaded guilty to stealing $28,000 from a 94-year-old woman who was entrusted into his care.
Poor Russell, if only he hadn’t accidentally heard Highway to Hell that one time his friend’s older brother gave him a ride home from school he might not have taken that wrong turn down the path of robbing the elderly.
Finally. The perfect excuse to finish off the bottle of Jager I bought the last time VH played Staples.
